We had LOTS of fun today in our class Christmas party! We ate Chinese food for lunch, we made Christmas ornaments with our resource/inclusion teacher Ms. Acconzo & we opened presents!! Merry Christmas!!

So, no school today, Tuesday, December 10, 2013.  Be safe & warm! I guess I'll use this day to upload some old photos AND it's highly likely that we will not have homework packets this week. Watch the homework though because I'm going to change the name of our blog from josiesmuffins to something else.  I haven't decided yet.  Cheers!

Snowy Day!

Yesterday we had a 90 minute day! 14 students showed up so we had a smoky hot chocolate! The smoke was totally by accident lol. We will try it again next week when we celebrate Las Posadas in our class room! (We will not have Santa Lucia Day this year.)

Yum yum eat 'em up!

Today we had breakfast in school! I know...we have breakfast in school every morning, but today we had Dunkin' Donuts, chocolate milk, & orange juice! =) It was fun! We even had a few visitors (Mrs. Anthony-Musa & Mr. Taylor stopped by!) Tomorrow is our Thanksgiving feast! We will post photos of that as well! =)

New Info for 2013-2014 School Year

Greetings families of my new love muffins! =) I haven't posted on here since November of 2011 & I apologize! The info from 2011 is inaccurate.  As of now I am not staying after school for tutoring, and probably won't be doing so this year.  On Monday & Wednesday I rush off to Jersey City immediately after school to my graduate school courses.  The next semester it should only be on Mondays.  Thursdays & Fridays will be drama club days, so I won't be able to tutor anyone after school.  There may be time on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, but we'll have to see once the Fall semester ends.  I can get to school early for tutoring if you let me know ahead of time.  Shoot me an e-mail or text message! Make sure your child has breakfast BEFORE coming to school if you want them to attend morning tutoring.

This week is a short week due to Thanksgiving! On Wednesday, November 27th we will have a reduced day.  School will let out at 1:53.  Enjoy your holiday! =)
